What time is best to watch?
Usually after midnight and before dawn, when your side of Earth faces into the stream. The Geminids and Draconids are exceptions that are good in the evening.
Do I need a telescope?
No — just your eyes, a dark place away from city lights and 20 minutes for your eyes to adjust.
