Working out tonight’s sky…
Questions
Which planets can you see without a telescope?
Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn — when they’re above the horizon and the sky is dark.
Why can’t I see a planet that’s “up”?
It may be too close to the Sun’s glare, behind buildings, or low in haze. Higher than 10° is easiest.
Is my location stored?
No — it’s used only in your browser to calculate the sky.
